Partner terms

Last updated: 6 October 2026

These terms apply to professionals who offer luggage storage to travellers through Bagdropin.

1. Purpose

These terms set out the conditions under which Vishnugopy Suthaharan (sole proprietor, EI) (“Bagdropin”) provides its platform to partners and under which partners provide storage to travellers. They are complementary to the traveller terms.

2. Eligibility and SIRET

Only professionals registered in France may become partners. You must provide a valid SIRET number, your business name, address and contact details, and, on request, a recent extract proving your registration (for example a Kbis or INSEE notice). You declare that you are legally allowed to carry out this activity at your premises.

3. Partner account

The partner account is separate from traveller accounts. You are responsible for the accuracy of your information and for the use of your account by your staff. Tell us promptly of any change (address, SIRET, legal form, closure).

4. Listing a spot

You choose your price per bag per day (from a minimum of €5), your capacity, your opening hours and the maximum size and weight you accept. Your address must be in France. Information must be accurate and kept up to date.

5. Your obligations

  • Keep luggage in a secure, dry area that customers cannot access.
  • Never open, search or use customers' luggage, and never lend it to third parties.
  • Respect your opening hours and the capacity of your spot.
  • Refuse items that are illegal, dangerous or listed as prohibited in the traveller terms.
  • Compare the traveller's luggage with the photos taken at drop-off, and tell us about any difference immediately.
  • Hand luggage only to the person who shows the correct booking code.

6. Daily operation

Paid drop-offs appear in your dashboard with the traveller's photos. Press Stored once the bags are in your storage area, and Hand back when the traveller collects them. Confirmations must be made at the time of the actual drop-off and pick-up.

7. Fees and payouts

Bagdropin collects the traveller's payment through Stripe. The booking price paid by the traveller is split as follows: Bagdropin keeps 60% as its commission and you receive 40%, unless a different rate has been agreed with you in writing or shown in your partner dashboard; a new rate only applies to bookings made after the change. Stripe's payment processing fee on each booking is shared pro rata: it is deducted from the booking price first, and the 60/40 split applies to the remainder. Payouts are made by Stripe through Stripe Connect. You must create a Stripe account for your business and accept Stripe's terms and identity checks. Once you hand the bags back and the booking is completed, your share is transferred to your Stripe balance, and Stripe pays it out to your bank account every week (on Mondays). If your Stripe account is not yet set up, your earnings are held and paid as soon as it is. You are responsible for your own invoicing, taxes and social contributions.

8. Responsibility for the luggage (no Bagdropin insurance)

Bagdropin does not provide any insurance or guarantee for luggage. You are solely responsible for the luggage you hold, as a depositary under articles 1927 and following of the French Civil Code, from the moment you confirm the drop-off until the traveller collects it. You are liable for its loss, theft or damage while it is in your care.

Travellers are asked to leave only clothes and personal items, and not to leave laptops or other electronics, documents, money, jewellery or valuables. You may refuse any item that does not respect this rule. We recommend that you check with your own insurer whether your policy covers customers' property on your premises.

Bagdropin is not liable for loss or damage to luggage, except where the law provides otherwise.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account in case of invalid SIRET, repeated complaints, fraud, breach of these terms or risk to travellers. You may stop at any time after completing existing bookings. Notice period: one (1) week, given in writing (email is enough), for either party, except where a suspension or closure is justified by fraud, breach of these terms or risk to travellers, in which case it can take effect immediately.

10. Personal data

You process travellers' data (name, booking, photos) only to carry out the booking and must not keep or reuse it. Each party is responsible for its own compliance with the GDPR. See the privacy policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably falls under the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
