Frequently asked questions

Everything about storing your bags with Bagdropin.

Where is Bagdropin available?

For now in Paris Bercy. We are looking for partners in other French cities. If yours is missing, tell us on the home page and become a partner if you run a café, hotel or shop.

How does Bagdropin work?

Find a partner, scan the QR code on their poster, choose your bags and pick-up date, take a photo of your luggage, pay online, then hand your bags to the partner. They mark them as stored.

Do I need an account?

No. When you scan a partner's QR code you can book as a guest. Creating an account lets you keep your bookings in one place.

Why do I have to take a photo?

At least one photo of your luggage is required at drop-off. It is a shared record of what was left and its condition, which helps if there is ever a question about your bags.

How can I pay?

Payments are handled by Stripe. You can pay with Apple Pay or a bank card, including Cartes Bancaires, depending on what your device and bank support.

How much does it cost?

Prices are per bag per day and start from €5. The exact price of each spot is shown before you pay, along with the total for your dates.

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes. You can cancel before your drop-off date and you will be refunded to your original payment method. See the cancellation and refund policy for details.

Are there size or weight limits?

Limits are set by each partner depending on the space they have. If your bag is very large or heavy, check the spot's details or choose another one.

What are the opening hours?

Each spot shows its own opening hours. Make sure they cover both your drop-off and your pick-up time.

What can I leave?

Clothes and personal items only. Please do not leave laptops, phones or other electronics, documents, money, jewellery or any valuables: keep those with you. Illegal or dangerous items, weapons, flammable goods, perishable food and animals are never accepted.

Is my luggage insured?

No. Bagdropin does not insure luggage. The partner who keeps your bags is responsible for them while they are in their care, which is why we ask you to leave only clothes and personal items. We also take photos at drop-off as a record of what was left.

How much do partners earn?

Partners receive 40% of each booking and Bagdropin keeps 60% as its commission. Partners are responsible for the bags they hold.

How do I become a partner?

Create a partner account with your business details and a valid SIRET number. Then add your spot, print your QR poster and start receiving drop-offs.
